Scrimmage Policy and Guidelines

The Academy of Sports (TAS) and Jeff Brameier, aka Coach B, have teamed up to design a competitive lacrosse scrimmage clinic in a convenient location for the off season. The highlights and goals of the clinics are as follows:
To maximize the number of “live touches” for each player by utilizing a six-on-six format (6 v 6 format);
To maximize the number of “live touches” for each player by limiting the number of players per team to 8 players;
To maximize the number of “live touches” for each player by limiting the number of teams to 3 (per 1 hour and 30 minute tournament session).
Players will be coached to follow proper lacrosse etiquette by passing to the open player, shooting only when there is a clear and open shot.
The teams will emerge from each clinic with a true sense of team sportsmanship and full individual participation;
The coaching staff will divide the players between teams to ensure a parity of talent (skill-set) between the three clinic teams.
